✍🏽 Writing with Power. I was reaching for another book on the stoop when the universe gifted me this one instead, in the form of an older gentleman who wordlessly but insistently shoved this book in my hands before disappearing, so here I am, powering through 💪🏽 (by Peter Elbow, 1981)
WATCHING
🍎 Abbott Elementary. (A+) late to this party and starting from S1E1, but knew within seconds this was a standout successor to The Office. Gut? Busted! Brava, Quinta Brunson! Hulu+
🛼 Barbie (B-) also unfashionably late to the Barbie party (since childhood) and the payoff didn’t quite live up to all the media hype. It’s revolutionary Greta Gerwig got to say all the quiet parts out loud in a Mattel-backed big Hollywood movie.
